P8777 Survey research methods
Overview of methods in survey research. Includes defining the aims of a
survey, sampling, question-wording and designing the survey instrument,
methods of data collection (including face-to-face and telephone
interviewing and mail questionnaire), entry of data, elementary data
analysis, and writing the report. The organization of survey
research, its uses, and ethical issues are also discussed. Student
exercises emphasize learning of practical skills.
