EXPERTISE:

Reproductive health of refugees and others affected by armed conflict; project design, monitoring and evaluation; training of health workers in resource-poor settings; standards and accountability in humanitarian relief; clinical nursing.

CURRENT WORK/RESEARCH:

Reproductive Health for Refugees Monitoring and Evaluation Program -- Providing technical assistance for field sites delivering reproductive health for war–affected populations. Assisting with project design, data collection and analysis, documentation, staff training. Preparing set of field tools on monitoring and evaluation for reproductive health in conflict-affected settings.

  • Teaching graduate course “Reproductive Health of Refugees and Others affected by Armed Conflict”
  • Publishing articles and reports on reproductive health of war-affected populations.
  • Presenting refugee reproductive health issues at international meetings.
  • Member of UNHCR/UNFPA InterAgency Working Group on Refugee Reproductive Health.
