Scientific American Names Mailman School Research Team's Work Identifying Cause of Honey Bee Colony Collapse Disorder as One of Top 25 Science Stories of 2007

The editors and reporters of Scientific American named Ian Lipkin, MD, director of the Mailman School's Center for Infection and Immunity, and his team's groundbreaking research using revolutionary technologies to find a significant connection between the Israeli Acute Paralysis Virus and colony collapse disorder in honey bees, as one of the top 25 science and health stories of 2007.
