Marianthi Markatou Elected to International Statistical Institute

Marianthi Markatou, PhD, professor of clinical Biostatistics, has been selected for membership in the International Statistical Institute (ISI). The ISI is composed of more than 2,000 individual elected members who are internationally recognized as definitive leaders in the field of statistics. Members are elected by virtue of their distinguished contributions to the development or application of statistical methods, the administration of statistical services, or the development and improvement of statistical education. Established in 1885, the International Statistical Institute (ISI) is one of the oldest scientific associations operating in the modern world.
