eRecruiting at the Mailman School Within the coming weeks, the Office of Career Services will transition from the current job search engine (Public Health Positions at www.mailmanschool.org/sph/Job_login.asp) to Mailman eRecruiting, an Experience, Inc. platform that is also used by the Harvard and Johns Hopkins Schools of Public Health. During the transition, users will have access to both the new and old search engines. The major benefit of Mailman eRecruiting is increased functionality, including online resume books, a resume uploading feature to facilitate applying for positions, access to employers in the Experience network, as well as to employers in the Mailman network, and much more. "We have been working diligently on the transition since late fall and anticipate that it will be relatively seamless," said Tanya Cobbs Leslie, assistant dean and director of Career Services. "We look forward to helping our alumni take advantage of all the benefits this system offers." Instructions for accessing Mailman eRecruiting was sent to alumni for whom OCS has addressable e-mail information in early February. If you did not receive information, please contact TCL1@columbia.edu for details.
The Office of Career Services looks forward to hosting fifty employers at Spring Career Day on Friday, March 28th. If you are currently seeking new employment opportunities or simply want to "test" the market, please plan to attend. If your employer is actively recruiting public health degree candidates, or if you think they might be interested in doing so, please consider participating as an employer representative. Contact TCL1@columbia.edu for details.
