DESCRIPTION

The overall goal of the Center is to foster research and training on the genetic contributions to diseases with complex inheritance important for domestic and international public health. This will be achieved by exploiting both structural (genotypic) and functional (gene expression) variations in the genome to understand, prevent and treat major illnesses including oncologic, neuropsychiatric, infectious and cardiovascular diseases.
