| As more national attention is focused on preparing the public health workforce to meet the challenges of the 21st century, the Department of Epidemiology has begun devoting more resources and placing increased emphasis on expanding the types and quality of practicum experiences available to its master's students.
The practicum experience is intended to provide students with an out-of-the-classroom experience in a public health setting.
