Faculty Positions
The Department of Biostatistics at the Mailman School of Public Health at
Columbia University is seeking applications for junior tenure track and
senior faculty positions. We are seeking outstanding teachers with
demonstrated ability both to conduct independent research and to work
collaboratively with other disciplines in Public Health and with the
clinical departments of the Faculty of Medicine. Applicants must have a
doctoral degree in Biostatistics or Statistics. Junior faculty should
have exceptional letters of reference supporting their abilities and
senior faculty must have a demonstrated record of excellence in teaching,
publications, and grant support. We are especially interested in
researchers with experience in cancer research who can direct the
biostatistics core of our comprehensive cancer center; with experience in
dental research statistics who are interested in an interdisciplinary
appointment in the Columbia School of Dental and Oral Surgery; with
experience in the design, conduct, and analysis of clinical trials; and
with experience in medical informatics, bioinformatics, brain imaging,
