By subway, your destination is 168th Street in the Washington Heights section of Manhattan. This station is on the A, C, 1 and 9 lines, all of which can be reached easily from the major midtown transit centers. The A line is an express and makes the trip fastest. The fare is $1.50 and transfers between lines are free; buy a token at the station.

The subway station is at 168th and Broadway. Once out of the station, walk half a block west on 168th Street. The Presbyterian Hospital entrance is on your left. Tell Security that you want the Department of Biostatistics on the 18th floor. Walk straight back about 50 feet to a bank of 6 elevators and ride up to 18. You will see signs for Biostatistics. To gain entry, call us on the wall phone (press 69398) or just follow someone else who's entering at the same time with a card key.

The M-2, M-3, M-4, M-5 and M-100 bus lines also serve CPMC. The fare is also $1.50; they accept tokens, Metro cards and coins (exact change only).

If you come by taxi, tell the driver you want to go to Presbyterian Hospital at CPMC on 168th Street between Broadway and Fort Washington. The fare from LaGuardia is about $20 (including bridge tolls).

By Car

From New Jersey, take I-80 or I-95 to the George Washington Bridge; the toll is $6 (EZPass: $4 off peak; $5 peak) entering Manhattan (leaving is free). Once on the bridge, follow the signs to exit onto the Henry Hudson Parkway (9A), then to Riverside Drive South. From Riverside Drive turn left onto 165th Street, where there are parking lots at the corner of Fort Washington Ave. (public) and further up 165th near Broadway (reservation required). Walk north one block to 168th Street. Follow instructions above once you get inside Presbyterian Hospital.

From Westchester, take the Henry Hudson Parkway South and exit left onto Riverside Drive just after going under the George Washington Bridge. Then turn left onto 165th as above.

From Connecticut, take I-95. Approaching the George Washington Bridge, take the Henry Hudson Parkway exit. On the approach to the Parkway, stay to the left and follow the signs to Riverside Drive. Turn left onto 165th as above.
