Ed Arnold-Berkovits
Senior programmer
Ed Arnold-Berkovits is the Senior Programmer in the ITS and Online Resources Group. He is responsible for School-wide programming projects including the Faculty Database and the Experts Guide. While application development is his primary focus, he has roles in school-wide server/server room maintenance and other technical issues. He has been at Columbia since June, 2003, starting as the Webmaster in the CUBhis group, moved up to include lead programmer and programming supervisor responsibilities and then transferred over to the Mailman School in October 2005. Ed has a bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering from Rutgers University and pursued graduate work in Artificial Intelligence and Computer-Aided Design at Syracuse University.
