The Department has built a solid interdisciplinary faculty representing key social science disciplines: medical anthropology, history and ethics, psychology, and medical sociology. Our faculty extends the reach of and adds to the toolkit of public health by examining the social, cultural, historical, and political factors that shape the public health enterprise.
