Epidemiology

A hallmark of the Department of Epidemiology at the Mailman School of Public Health is our multidisciplinary approach, which utilizes multiple levels of investigation and analysis with a growing focus on the interfaces and inter-relationships among health domains.

Our faculty are connected extensively with other parts of the University, both at the Medical Center and Morningside campuses, and we work closely with city and state public health agencies; key figures from these agencies serve on our faculty. This network of connections provides the Department of Epidemiology with a platform for strong, innovative programs in research, teaching and training, and services.
